Hamburgers

Americans consume 50 BILLION hamburgers every year. Many of those hamburgers come from cows raised in Missouri! Missouri has more beef cattle than any other state except Texas. 

Strawberries

Strawberries are a healthy snack packed with fiber, vitamin C, and antioxidants. Missouri is home to approximately 221 strawberry farms.

Chicken

Every year, Missouri produces approximately 291 million broiler chickens, ranking ninth in the nation!

Cereal

Missouri farmers plant over 5 million acres of soybeans each year. Soybeans are used in breakfast cereals, soy sauce, beverages, vegetable oil, salad dressing and more.

Eggs

In 2017, Missouri produced more than 3 million eggs, ranking 13th in the nation. WOW! That’s a lot of omelets.

Bacon

There are approximately 66,439 hog farms in Missouri. Pork is #1 agricultural export for Missouri.
